Just added a couple more widgets to help the blogosphere.

1: WP-Backlinks:

WP-Backlinks is a plugin that makes it easy to trade and manage backlinks on Wordpress. There is a form for other blog owners to fill out in the side navigation (below the google ads on the right). Add your site details (Title & URL) and the url to the page that has a link back to this site. Once the form is filled out WP-Backlinks will spider that page and make sure that you really did put a link to this blog on that page.

If you use a different system, check for a links plugin or just add our link, ( http://earnonline.panamacentric.com ) directly into an HTML page.

The WP-Backlinks plugin used here limits the number of links per page to 5, so if a particular page is already filled, just look around the blog for a page that has spaces available, or that matches your own site or blog.

I prefer the way this operates as your links are not lost on a link farm style page.

2: SEM DoFollow:

Wordpress marks all comments with the nofollow attribute, supposedly to discourage spam comments. The reality is, it doesn’t stop spammers but it does penalise real bloggers. The DoFollow plugin allows search engines to follow comments.

It’s far better for me to approve comments from real people and let the ‘link love’ flow.

So go ahead, comment on the various articles and benefit from the outbound link, just make sure that your comments or questions add value, because spam goes into ‘the round file’ and excessive spamming leads to an IP ban.

3: AddtoAny:

This great little sidebar widget takes up virtually no space, yet pops open and allows you to select from a wide choice of feed readers. No need to settle for the basic rss feed if you already have a feed reader from another system. Just grab the one you already use.

I hope these addons are useful, and will make your visit here a more rewarding experience. Let me know your thoughts about the layout, constructive criticism is always welcome.

Richard
